Excellent food. The beer was the highlight. Brewed on site, it is well worth a visit just to sample their beers! The staff were very friendly and the pub had a great atmosphere! The only point of note is that dogs were not permitted. Not the end of the world, but worth bearing in mind!

Visited this evening after a recommendation. We were not disappointed! The pub itself was very quiet due to the storm... however we were warmly welcomed. The food was absolutely delicious - best I've had in a long, long time. Our 19 month old had a whale of a time and, again, was warmly welcomed. Very reasonably priced too. Would highly recommend and we'll definitely be back.

Visit here was through a recommendation for Sunday lunch and it was definitely worth it. Got to say food was amazing,, 4 choices of meat, I opted for beef & turkey. Also there was plenty of fresh vegetables to choose from along with huge Yorkshire puddings. Delicious food thanks.

A great pub,overlooking a lovely view of the river. Good staff with food to match. If you are staying in the area its well worth a visit.
Ales brewed on site excellent! Excellent food but check they are open! Haggis neeps m tatties with whiskey sauce excellent

Excellent meal at an excellent price. Had the Carvery and could not fault it in any way, shape or form. 11 out of 10. Would definitely go again and would definitely recommend it to anybody with a good appetite. Once again 11 out of 10.
